Here in the land of many waters, the water flows around us, over us, under us and through us. We exist as droplets in an ever cloudy sky.

Chalchiutlicue is the scientific phenomena that occur with the water. It is the duality of the representation of Tlaloc - the rain. Chalchiutlicue is the snow on the mountains, the lagoons and lakes, the internal waters of the earth and the springs where the water flows out to the surface.

Chalchiutlicue is the representation of the sweet water that rests inside of and on the surface of Mother Earth.

In our lifetime, we have witnessed the first privatization of the water, just as our grandparents experienced the privatization of the land of our mother earth.

Our water is our life. As we float for almost 10 months in an internal sea of water, and emerge through a river of water, we know that our lives as human beings are formed in and surrounded by water. This water that composes 97% of our bodies, and clears the path for new life to emerge, is connected with all of the water of the earth and sky.

We know that the water is forever flowing in its cycle from the surface of the earth to the vapor in the air and back to the surface again as rain, sleet or snow.
