Building of Ofrendas at Park
Community members are welcome to bring items to place on the ofrenda.

Baseball diamond near soccer fields on north side of lake

March For Water - through Phillips/ Powderhorn community

Please arrive no later than 10:30 am as we will start the procession at 11 am.

11am

Start at the Minneapolis American Indian Center, 1530 East Franklin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55404 MAP and end at Powderhorn Park Recreation Center.

Offering of Flowers to Powderhorn Lake

12 pm ish

Once the march arrives at the park, there will be rafts of flowers offered beginning on East Side of Powderhorn Lake and will proceed around lake doing 4 dances, one for each of the four directions.

After the fourth direction offering, we will proceed to Baseball diamond on north side of lake for remaining part of the ceremony.

Hike to the east point of Pike Island to the Confluence of the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers to offer flowers to the river.

9 am

Fort Snelling State Park, HWY 5 & Post Road, Saint Paul, MN 55111
Hike will begin at the Thomas Savage Visitor Center.  Drive all the way to the end of the entrance road and park there.

Fiesta at the Beach. Bring your swim suit and something to eat, share, BBQ.

Noon-ish

Fiesta will be at Snelling beach. We will secure space on the grass as well. Look for us. We will be there.
Park in very first parking lot on left after the entrance.
